The Beehive

About The Beehive

The Beehive is about 500 feet tall, but it still considered a difficult trail, and is more so advised to experienced hikers, or anyone looking for a challenge. The hike goes through the woods, along with on the side of the exposed cliff, leading to wonderful views. It is also one of the most popular trails in Acadia National Park, so it is advised to go early, or at least prepare to see other people on the hike.

The Bowl Trail

Though it is not the exact same experience as hiking the Beehive, there is a family friendly trail, The Bowl Trail, that less experienced hikers can take instead. This trail comes up the back side of the peak, so while it does not offer the same views on the way up, you can still get to the top without too much effort.
